Overview
At Shining Hope for Communities we believe about a comprehensive community based approaches to improving the lives of those who live in extreme poverty. This summer we will build the Shining Hope Community Compound in Kibera! The Shining Hope for Community Compound will be the home to The Kibera School for Girls, the Kibera Free Health Clinic, The Kibera School for Girls Family Library, The Women’s Microfinance Workshop, and the SHOFCO Youth Center. This compound will provide the community with essential services currently not accessible. This compound is a revolutionary step towards community-driven change in Kibera.
